Type: Perennial Hardy Perennial. C. grandiflora has a long flowering season when deadheaded regularly, but the plants do not live long, usually 2 to 3 years in the warm climate, 4 years in the cool climate. The daisy-like flowers are good for cutting and this perennial is easy to grow. It likes fertile to average, well-drained or sandy soil. You may divide in the spring or fall. May also be grown as an annual. The seeds of this plant need light to germinate. |
