Hardy Perennial. This is a fascinating plant for your perennial border or flower garden. Dark green foliage is arranged in a neat clump of about 1 foot high and the flower spikes reach to 3 feet or more. Cheerful blooms are a butter yellow and appear at the stem just above paired leaves. They soon are followed by seed pods which are also attractive.
