Hardy Perennial. Foliage of this woodland plant forms a creeping mat of loosely entwined stems with semi-evergreen oblong leaves. Excellent when combined with late spring flowering bulbs, or as an underplanting to larger perennials. A great plant for naturalizing or for a shady border. It is an excellent plant for humid northern and central regions with a slightly acid soil.
